Our Campus

Prime Location for Excellence

Situated in the center of Yeshiva University’s Wilf Campus, MTA students benefit from unparalleled access to world-class facilities. They learn and grow in the vibrant environment of the university’s batei midrash, the NCAA-regulation Max Stern Athletic Center, the renowned Pollack and Gottesman Libraries—home to rare Judaic and general manuscripts—as well as state-of-the-art science laboratories, the scenic Tenzer Gardens, and much more.

Our own building is anchored by the architecturally acclaimed Joseph Alexander Library, spanning two floors and housing more than 14,000 volumes—with new additions added regularly. The space serves as a hub for independent study, review sessions, and exploration, and also features a modern iMac lab. A curated lending library of over 225 films, including a collection of classic cinema, is available to both students and faculty.

The Community

Located in northern Manhattan, on the Wilf campus of Yeshiva University, home of Yeshiva College and the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS), Yeshiva University High School for Boys draws nearly 300 students from the greater New York metropolitan area and beyond.

Approximately 90% of the student body commutes from throughout the five boroughs of N.Y.C. and its suburbs. The other 10%, drawn from throughout North America and the world, lives in our campus residence hall

The Commute

Daily transportation is provided at an extra cost to a variety of communities including:

  • Monsey
  • Bergen County
  • Brooklyn
  • Edison / Highland Park
  • Elizabeth
  • Queens
  • Long Island
  • Manhattan
  • Monsey
  • Passaic
  • Riverdale
  • Westchester County

Transportation is provided each and every school day. We also provide late buses for students who wish to participate in after-school programming (night seder, athletics, clubs, studying, etc.) in order to alleviate the burden on parents who would otherwise need to carpool. These buses travel to various communities (depending on the night), departing the school at 8:30 pm. Non-dorm students also have the opportunity to stay over, on occasion, in the dormitory with permission and when space allows.

Students attending YUHSB from outside the NY/NJ metro have the opportunity of residing in the Strenger Hall, which provides a home away from home for our students. For more information about the warm and caring dormitory program, please click here.
